Richard W. Parker

I was recently playing a game of Jyhad, and my opponent brought out the KRCG News Radio card. So I, being in a typical wierd Jyhadian frame of mind, realized that the radio station letters MUST have been chosen for some reason. RCG...hmmm...Richard C. Garfield??? My question to the group: I have looked in every bit of MtG or Jyhad paper that I could find, and could not find a single reference to Richard Garfield that showed what his middle initial is. So, IS his middle initial a "C", and if so, am I correct in my assumption that the initials were intentionally chosen for that reason? Or am I just trying to read WAY too much into this stuff? ;-) -- -- Richard Parker (rwparker@netcom.com)

That would be my guess, but the WotC folks I asked this weekend didn't know what Richard's middle initial is, so it might or might not be named after him. I thought Steve Jackson's middle initial is a pyramid. You don't think the picture on Lure is an accident, do you?
