Hello, I'm looking for Jyhad players in New Hampshire, Portsmouth area. Also, if all my vamps are tapped and someone calls a vote, I know the voting vamps still get to vote because they are considered ready, but can I use a reaction card on one of them? I had a reaction card in hand the other night that would have given me 4 votes, but all my vamps were tapped. Since we couldn't find anything in the rulebook, we played it that I couldn't use the reaction card. Luckily I had the Edge and was able to tie my opponent in votes :-) When is the Jyhad Players guide coming out? I thought it was due by this time? Are people mainly using older younger or middle-aged vamps? It seems to me that younger ones ( provided they have the right disciplines ) would be best in a two player game where voting matters little, because they are cheap to control and quick to get into play. But I only received a couple young vamps, I actually have many more Justicars, Princes, and Primogens than anything else. Thanks, Stephan

It was more intended as a sourcebook for Vampire players, based on cards from Jyhad. The examples of ruling written in the JPG are all messed-up and are generally more confusing than helpful. If this JPG had been published by WotC instrad of WW, maybe then it would have been worthwhile. And this recommandation is not based upon my own experience with the JPG, but rather on those of the people of the Jyhad mailing list. There is a big talk about it right now and general consensus is it is not worth it, from a Jyhad player's point of view. : Tom Wylie rec.games.deckmaster Network Representative for : aahz@hal.com Wizards of the Coast, Inc. -- Karrde "I've found that what people call luck if often little more than raw talent combined with the ability to make the most of opportunities."
