Only usable after a bleed against you is declared. This reacting vampire gets +2 intercept. Artist: Michael Weaver Rarity: Common Card Title: Shadow of the Beast Blood/Pool: 1 blood Clan/Discip.: Protean Card Type: Action Card Text: If this action succeeds, put this card on the acting vampire. The vampire gets one optional manuever each combat. A vampire may have only one Shadow of the Beast card. (S) As above, and this vampire gets an optional press each combat. Artist: Pete Venters Rarity: Uncommon Card Title: Protected Resources Pool: 2 pool Clan/Discip.: n/a Card Type: Master Card Text: Master If this card is in play, another Methuselah may not bleed you for more than 2 pool. Burn this card if you successfully bleed another Methuselah. Artist: Richard Thomas Rarity: Rare Card Title: Justicar Retribution Card Type: Political Action Card Text: Political Card-Worth 1 Vote Called by any vampire at +1 stealth. Successful vote burns all vampires with a current bleed of 3 or more. Artist: Michael Weaver Rarity: Uncommon and as far as I can remember the following cards were also changed: - Stake is now Wooden Stake as "paralyze" is removed from the game. WS is basically the same as Stake except all the paralyze stuff is now part of the card text. - Gangrel De-evolution is now Gangrel Avatism (still lame). - Camille Devereux is replaced by Raven (same stats, different picture and name). - Dominate Kine is now Kine Dominance. - Blood Rage correctly printed as a Thaumaturgy card. I think that's it, but I may have slipped a few... regards -- Brian Rasmussen Dansk Data Elektronik A/S Tel.: (+45) 42 84 84 33 (589) Herlev Hovedgade 199 Fax : (+45) 42 84 52 20 DK-2730 Herlev, Denmark e-mail: b...@dde.dk

That isn't quite my question, but I was wondering whether there was an official stance on cards like Bonding, Threats and Conditioning which had a text change between the two - Bonding in Jyhad only refers to itself, Threats and Conditioning as being unplayable after it - meaning that you could play a Foreshadowing Destruction. However, the V:TES version says no further mods meaning it couldn't be played. Is there an official thing for them because I've checked the errata and it doesn't make it clear. Are any card changes in V:TES backdated to Jyhad ie Jyhad Bonding should actually read "No Further Bleed Mods", or are they played as written? -- James Coupe

The official rule is that all cards are treated as if they have the latest wording. All cards are played as the latest version is written (with all applicable errata, of course). [ quoted text not captured ] Note that some errata has been added wherever the V:TES card text differed only in error. For instance Smiling Jack the Anarch was errataed back to its Jyhad wording when the V:TES version was found to contain an error causing the card to cost more to the person playing it than to its victims. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- pheersum is eric schultheis. no commercial e-mail will be tolerated. this computer is attatched to a printer with a fax program. any spam will be subject to federal prosecution of fax machine fraud. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
