Hidden Lurker [Jyhad, V:TES, SW] Cardtype: Action Modifier Discipline: Obfuscate Usable only by an untapped vampire other than the acting minion after the acting minion is blocked and combat is over. Tap this vampire. This vampire now enters combat with the blocking minion. The first round of combat, the blocking minion cannot use any strikes (not even the default hand strike). (S) As above, but with an optional press. Question: Can the blocking minion use additional strikes? I always used to think so, but it says "The first round of combat, the blocking minion cannot use any strikes", so it seems like the ban on strikes last the whole round. This could be another instance of me misrembering an old Jyhad ruling. Or I could be on crack. James -- James Hamblin ham...@math.wisc.edu "What drives you on can drive you mad. I think you're looking for this (under "Combat" in the Rul./Err./Clar.): You can gain additional strikes even if you cannot strike. You still cannot strike with the additional strike(s), however. Under Hidden Lurker you could play Blur, but doing so will not overcome the restriction against striking. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
