Can i use a wooden stake together with a Scorpion sting. I'm not sure, as it is a melee weapon and scorpion sting does not imply melee weapons, but the minion with the stake does handdamage as a strike. Tim Wooden Stake Melee weapon. Minion with this equipment inflicts hand damage as a strike. If more than 1 damage is inflicted with this weapon, all additional damage is aggravated. If the victim is sent to torpor, transfer this card to the victim; the victim does not untap while in torpor. Scorpion Sting strike: +1 hand damage. (S) As above, and this strike cannot be dodged. -- PROPHECY OF GEHENNA: On The First Day Of Gehenna The Shrieking Wind Shall Be Silent And When A Black Sun Hangs From A Somber Sky Caine's Sleeping Children Shall Once Again Arise Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

No. A Scorpion Sting strike deals strength+1 damage. Scorpion Sting (unlike Lucky Blow, et. al) says nothing about using the strike with a melee weapon. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Strikes that inflict hand damage are not the same as strikes that inflict damage based on hand damage. You could use Lucky Blow with Wooden stake, because it explicitly excludes melee weapons > Wooden Stake > Melee weapon. Minion with this equipment inflicts hand damage as a > strike. Interpret this as, "Minion with this equipment inflicts weapon-damage based on his strength", strength being defined as the amount of damage the minion would currently be able to inflict if he struck with a normal (non-strike card) hand strike.
