LSJ should modify/ban PTO just so he doesn't have to go through all of
these interminable threads and thread-busts about it's gnarliness. It
would probably save him 15-20 minutes a day, if not more. And for a
guy who has a full-time teaching job, another full-ish time as a game
line developer and "netrep", as well as a wife and some kids, well,
15-20 minutes a day is like cash in the bank.

Except that LSJ is using a newsreader that has killfile capability.
'PTO' was the first word he set to be filtered out.
...either that, or he takes some sullen pleasure in certain masochistic
reading experiences. ;)

There's only one line in my killfile and "PTO" is not it (and, no,
"Daneel" is not it either; but don't feel bad, it was a finalist, along
with "Orpheus").

Not to try to seem to sound smart or anything, but the existence of
this very reply implied as much. ;)
Not with certainty, though, depending on how the killfile works and
is used.

It's always good to achieve, especially when pitted against such
intense adversity... ;)
