Gratiano's special is that he has an additional vote during the Priscus vote. Now, if Gratiano became, say, an Archbishop, he would still have the additional vote during the Priscus vote because it is card text, correct? However, he would also have the 2 votes granted to him by his new title. Now, say that there are no Prisci on the table. What happens to his additional vote? Nothing, because there is no Prisci vote for him to be part of? Or his sole additional prisci vote influences the block and as such can cast a total of 5 votes, the 2 for Archbishop and the 3 from the Priscus? a0 --- I told the priest - don't count on any second coming. God got his ass kicked the first time he came down here slumming. He had the balls to come, the gall to die and then forgive us. No, I don't wonder why, I wonder what he thought it would get us -- Concrete Blonde -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own

I don't know if it's been over-turned (I don't recall) but I have the following from a list of Errata: The Prisci Vote Only Methuselahs who control Prisci may vote in the Prisci Vote. [S.3] [RTR 970425] It will work the other way round, tho: * Prisci are *not* prohibited from voting in the main vote if they have votes. Say, from a political struggle, maybe. I don't know. -- James Coupe (Prince of Mercia, England) Vampire: Elder Kindred Network http://madnessnetwork.hexagon.net http://www.obeah.demon.co.uk

While Gratiano may still get 1 additional vote during the Prisci sub-vote, he cannot cast that vote if he is no longer a Priscus. [6.3.3.4] > Now, say that there are no Prisci on the table. With no Prisci controlled by any of the Methuselahs in the game, the Prisci sub-vote typically ties zero to zero. As an Archbishop, Gratiano cannot affect that sub-vote. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
