Yep. Just like manuevering to range with a gun, your strike is also
declared. (Using the gun.)

Yes, if you plan to use the Gate's maneuver at all.
Same thing as with using a maneuver from a weapon. Once you use
the maneuver, you must use that card as your first strike of the round,
in effect telling everyone what strike you intend to use.

Yes, if you want to use the TG's op man, you must play TG during the Maneuver Step
effectively broadcasting your strike. If you do not want/need the TG's op man,
you may play it during Strike Declaration Step like any other strike card.
