Hi all. This came up yesterday and I want to make sure we got it right. My opponent's minion (with OBF) attempts to bleed. My minion (with AUS) attempts to block. My opponent plays Cloak the Gathering (+1 stealth). I play Enhanced Senses at superior. Do I get +2 intercept or do I only get what I need to match the stealth? What happens if he then plays another Cloak? Do I have to gain another intercept or does the ES cover the new Cloak too? Thanks in advance. -- Dave, web ghoul Powerbase Ottawa <http://www.geocities.com/s_darkangel/pbo/home.html> The Black Sun <http://www.ncf.carleton.ca/~bl740/blacksun.html> "...And never fear. Yes, you get +2 intercept. You can't gain intercept unless you need it, but at that point, you can gain more than you need from a single effect.

You get +2 intercept. Your opponent must find another stealth (total 3) before you need to find another intercept. -JTP

Here's a repost of a recent White Wofl post I did that might re-address some of these issues: << No, the rules allow you to play enough interceptto get to 1 match the opposing value, and no further (unless you play a card that gives multiple points of intercept all at once). The other cards could not be played. >> To elaborate a bit more, remember that: you can only play stealth or intercept if it is needed. However, if you need stealth or intercept, you can play a card that gives you more than one stealth or intercept, even if you don't need the extra stealth or intercept. Example: Minion A attempts to bleed, Minion B attempts to block. At this point, Minion A does need stealth, so he can play a Faceless Night for +1 stealth. Alternatively, he could play a Lost in Crowds at superior for +2 stealth (even though he doesn't need that extra point of stealth. All it cares about is that he needs some stealth right now). However, he could *not* play two different cards each providing +1 stealth (i.e. a Faceless Night followed by a Cloak) because after playing one, he no longer needs stealth and thus cannot play the second. Intercept is just the same. Halcyan 2
