Hi, Suppose Conrad Adoula plays an action card. A tapped younger vampire with superior Maleficia would like to cancel it as played, using Evil Eye. a- How much blood would that younger vampire spend to play that card? (the answer should be 1 or 2) Evil Eye does state that the _acting_ minion is tapped. b- Does that mean there is an acting minion? If it does, I expect Conrad Adoula to be the acting minion, and since Conrad is acting and the other vampire, younger than acting Conrad, is playing a reaction card, that reaction card should cost him 1 additional blood. Pending question : c- If there is an acting minion, shouldn't there be an action around? Thanks ~~ Conrad Adoula Cardtype: Vampire Clan: Lasombra Group: 4 Capacity: 8 Discipline: ani cel DOM OBT POT Sabbat: While Conrad is acting, reaction cards cost younger vampires an additional blood. Evil Eye Cardtype: Combat/Reaction Clan: Cost: 1 blood Discipline: Maleficia Burn Option Do not replace until your untap phase. [mal] [COMBAT] Cancel a strike card played by the opposing minion as it is played (no cost is paid). The opposing minion cannot choose another strike and gets no strike instead. [mal] is not a Discipline. [MAL] [REACTION] Cancel an action card as it is played and tap the acting minion.

There is an acting minion. Evil Eye doesn't make this true, however. The action card (or rather, the announcing of the action) makes it true. > If it does, I expect Conrad Adoula to be the acting minion, and since > Conrad is acting and the other vampire, younger than acting Conrad, is > playing a reaction card, that reaction card should cost him 1 > additional blood. Correct all around. Card text. > Pending question : > c- If there is an acting minion, shouldn't there be an action around? There should be, yes. Except that it (the action card) gets canceled as it is played. So the action that should have been ... isn't. Card text. [ quoted text not captured ]
