Hi, I am just a little confused about the effect that master cards etc have when they are on a banished vampire. Ok so Miranda banishes Beatrice with a dominate skill card and the rack on her. Q1. Can my vampires steal the rack off of her. Q2. Does the master skill card have an effect on her while she is in torpor. Ie is she considered a 5 cap or a 6 cap when the opposing meth tries to influence her back out. Q3. If an effect was to destroy all equipment in play would this destroy those items on a banished vampire. Appologies if these questions have already been address and thanks in advance. Mark

Can my vampires steal the rack off of her. Yes. No. Sort of. They can't steal the Rack _off her_, as the Rack is not on her. The Rack goes in play, and chooses a Vampire. You could just steal the Rack though, as it never left play with the vampire. which leads to an interesting question: will the Rack still give it's blood to the Banished vampire? it says nothing about the target needing to be ready....although there is the whole 'needs to have explicit text to be able to effect uncontrolled vampires' thing.... >Q2. Cards on banished vampires are out of play unless specific text says otherwise. >Q3. The latter applies in the absence of explicit text. Rack has no such explicit text. So it doesn't give "its" blood to the uncontrolled vampire. >>Q2. I know if a vampire goes through the ash heap (burned and then possessed) then they are considered a whole new vampire and won't be the rack's target anymore. not sure about uncontrolled region, though. > you could have just asked me at our regular games. :) Yeah, just trying to fine tune the deck before then, besides KL and I play some nights and she refuses to read the rules herself but gets kinda anoyed if I ever get anything wrong. Mark

[ quoted text not captured ] Well, the Rack won't offer up missed blood, but at the next untap phase (if the vampire is controlled) he gets the benefit. Effects can "track" a vampire through banishment. [RTR 01-MAY-2000] [ quoted text not captured ]
