We had a little "discussion" last night about Peace Treaty. As you know, Peace Treaty is a political action that burns all weapons in play if it passes, unless a Methuselah wants to pay the equipping cost of the weapon again to keep it. What's the official word on weapons with no equipping cost? Some say that since there is no cost, you can keep it for free. Others say that since there is no equipping cost, it's impossible to pay it and so the weapon gets burned. -- Arrogantly twisting the sterile canvas snoot of a | a-Henh! fully charged icing annointment utensil, he poots forth | a tiny green rosette near the summit of a dense but | Brian radiant muffin of his own design. | Wilson | We miss you, Frank! |

Also a nice question: What about the zip gun? It is a weapon that a vamp pulled during combat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tobias op den Brouw This message printed on 100% Campuslaan 31-206 recyclabe electrons. 7522 NC Enschede Tel #: +31-53-895086 T.H.J.op...@student.utwente.nl

The Peace Treaty will burn it just fine. [ quoted text not captured ]

A weapon with no equip cost, or an equip cost of 0, will survive a Peace Treaty without any pool having to be paid. Tom Wylie rec.games.trading-cards.* Network Representative for aa...@cats.ucsc.edu Wizards of the Coast, Inc.

The Peace Treaty will burn it just fine. Except you can save the weapons during a peace treaty by repaying their cost...which for the Zip and the Grenade is, in fact, zero. JD

Yeah, that's what the original question was about, and that's the way Tom answered it. [ quoted text not captured ]
