hm. looks like i didn't account for a lot of cards, and
thought some cards were not stackable(mark of damnation,
f.i.) or forgot about (political struggle).
looks like i learned from posting this ;)
that goes for:
no previous combats.
the vamp is independent and your only minion.
you control only one of each given card
no skill cards
no cards played by the opposing minion's controller(the only one
beside you) that ACTIVELY(no frenzy, DotB or stuff) increase the
damage
36 damage is done in one strike of your minion, no combat cards played
by your vamp.
question is, what did your vampire do?
if vermilian finds out first, i'm gonna send him a vicissitude
poisoning(ORIGINAL SABBAT WAR!). or a legacy of caine.

Political Struggle still works.
It is burned each time, so it isn't controlled by the time the damage is done.
You only need one minion.
That minion can be made independent by Clan Impersonation.
Tap Island of Yiaros (which you control only one of).
Punch for 36 (assuming the correct pattern of struggles).

ah yeah, should've known that...o.k., with no political struggles
played so far...sorry for still being a little unclear, i hope it was
at least somewhat clear that that's not what i meant.

What is this crap? So is the opposing minion actually playing combat
cards or not?

Keep you vicissitude poisoning. It doesn't matter too much how the
vampire gets the huge strike, but LSJs method works just fine.
BTW I've got a question for you. Name a card that in its previous
edition had no tongue on it, got reprinted and now has a tongue on it.
Now name a card whose original edition had a tongue on it, got
reprinted and had no tongue on it.

the opposing minion? doesn't play any combat cards that increase the
damage your minion deals? i thought that was obvious by the examples i

it sure does...i didn't give a positive reply to that suggestion, so

Your wording and intention are unclear.
As to the examples you gave, Frenzy doesn't actually actively increase the
damage a vampire does so I don't know why it's one of your examples.

Oh I see. So out of the potentially infinite ways to solve this problem, LSJ's

All this tongue business has got me thinking on a new combat card...

as this was brought up too in the first quiz thread, and mentioned in
the opening post of mine in this thread, i thought it would be clear
that i was not referring to that venue.
that i was still too wrapped up in my damage-dealing stroke of genius
to see that i in fact hadn't ruled it out, proves again that i'm too
short-sighted to be called a genius.
you shouldn't by the way, apologize for being oblivious for anything,
but rather for trying to vent your anger for the world(and college
professors) by replying to a totally harmless, viable(see below)
thread that doesn't interest you and is imho clear in his intention,
if not in letters.
of course, others, including you, disagree with that, which i would
never take as either malign intent nor lack of intelligence on either
side.

i thought it might be nice to read something different but bitching
about the ec or posting self-made cards, which i think are
pointless(but at least i mostly keep my mouth shut about these posts)
and deck or strategy discussions, which are of course the main(but not

o.k., i was going for this:
great beast(4 str, AUS SER DAI)
gets a depravity(+1),
ci's to !tor, gets art of pain(+2 to this <vampire>),
ci's to gangrel(+1 to this <vampire>),
equips with bang nakh(+2),
plays concordance(+1, o.k. more are possible, was unclear on that too,
since you CAN give control of it away with succubus club, as somebody
mentioned),
plays mark of damnation (+2) on the other vamp,
equips with eye of hazimel(+1 CHI),
plays mass reality(+2),
ci's to samedi, gets regenerative blood, plays ecstatic agony,
blocks a diablerie of a vamp of the other methuselah by a vamp of the
other
methuselah with the deadliest sin(+2) at 9 blood (full capacity).
first round of combat, he is dealt 18 damage(survives due to
regenerative blood), he presses(with ecstatic agony) and does
4+1+2+1+2+1+2+1+2+2+18=36 damage.

You control three Clan Impersonations, in violation of the terms.
You should take the actions to burn them first (except for the Samedi
one, if you want to use Regenerative Blood. :-)
Use Camarilla Vitae Slave to increase Capacity without Discipline cards,
allowing an extra 2 damage (=38).
Use Blood Tears to gain blood in the first round and take 4 more damage
from the opponent's additional strike (=42).
If you want to get fancy, replace the Great Beast with a Blood Brother
and let the other members of that circle be controlled by someone else
(one of whom has Regenerative Blood via Clan Impersonation). You'll
have to lose the Concordance. But then each of the other Brothers can
play Brother's Blood to help deal with the incoming damage, making the
Agony much more Ecstatic. They can each have an enormous capacity if
they employ a series of Camarilla Vitae Slaves first, as well.

Then you've missed a rather comical aspect to this game. Telepathic
misdirection is now know as the middle finger and "bad brains" in our
local group. It just adds a lot to the game by giving nicknames to
cards (fat head, beef cake, bad brains, hell, raiging your hands in
the air when ignatous the black priest is in play, etc...). And come
on. You've GOT to stick your tongue out when anson, the miller
delmardigan or the beast are played (and other less played vampires,
but I'll save them for later).
> weren't you the one who told everybody not to answer my post?

Yeah. its not that I don't like challenges and what not, I just feel
slighted by this quizz. It seems that whenever someone gets aroudn to
answering it, its not what you were after. Course, to be honest, I
really can't think of any way to do it (other than LSJs method), so
you've probably a valid quiz question, I was just tired of you
changing the requirements around.
Vagueness annoys me. Course, thats coming from a libra, so he's bound
to be vague alot himself. Ah well. We're all hypocrits to some extent.

I like some good self made cards... but only well made ones, that
aren't over powered like
I win
Master
Put this card into play. During each Methuselahs untap phase they lose
all of their pool. No methuselah can play any master cards when this
card is played. No methuselah can gain any pool during their untap
phase. No minion may play any reaction cards when this card is played.

Combat
Useable as the opposing minion has played Pulled Fangs. Cancel the
effect of Pulled Fangs as it is played. Put this card on this vampire.
This minion takes one point of unproventable damage and may not play
Serpent's Tongue. This card can be burn by this vampire as a +1
stealth action that costs 1 blood.
BTW: Can you think of the tongue cards to which I refer? :)

The opposing minion with Ankara Citadel plays 17 Fists of Death at inferior.
(Happens all the time. :-)

o.k., last and ultimate challenge:
five player game, tournament legal decks, no political struggles

minion does more than(got tired of finding the maximum value)
1,62*10^818 (10 to the power of 818) damage with a hand strike.

well, it involves agaitas, around 378 ecstatic agonies, a clan

just assume you can use 5 cards by one player, and 429 by the other.
you can also get 15 'permanents' from the other players.

undead persistence only provide one press... so unless both have a meat hook
