The Question should have read: Can you use Superior effect of spying mission if your bleed for zero (gangrel de-evelotion) or the bleed is reduced to zero (Telepathic Counter). Steven Bauer

If you bleed for zero because of a Gangrel De-evolution, YOU CAN'T use superior effect of Spying Mission, but if the bleed is reduced to zero by a Telephatic Counter YOU CAN : > Date: Mon, 26 Sep 94 20:19:45 -0700 > Subject: [O] Rules Group answers to Jyhad questions > *** Rules Group answers to Jyhad questions, 9/23/94 *** > 29) Anyway, if I want to use Telepathic Counter against my opponent's > blee, but he wants to use Spying Mission, who wins? > Spying Mission would win, because the acting minion plays cards first, > and the bleed would have already been reduced by the time the > Telepathic Counter would be played. No. and No. Superior Spying mission has an effect which includes "instead of removing pool" Therefore, you can't use the remainder of this effect (place on the acting vampire for +2 bleed later) since you can't meet the requirements (the cost - the sacrificing of the removal of pool). -- ----- L. Yes, but this has been overturned: Subject: Revised Jyhad FAQ: 4/18/95 version Date: 18 Apr 1995 23:01:44 GMT Q: If I want to use Telepathic Counter against my opponent's bleed and he wants to use Spying Mission, who wins? A: Telepathic Counter would win, because the card reduces the bleed to 0, therefore Spying Mission would have no effect. --- Now, Spying Mission is an effect which modifiesa successful bleed (and so would be played after all bleed modifiers took effect).
