Ritual Challenge (either version) gives the Gangrel upon whom it is
played hand damage of two (basically, even though it is 2 hand damage in
Jyhad and +1 in V:TES)
However, the card (again, either version) then says that ONLY ONE Ritual
Challenge may be played on a Gangrel. Thus, you *couldn't* play a Jyhad
one and then a V:TES one on the same vampire.
It's also important to note that a Jyhad Ritual Challenge on Zack North
(Jyhad version) will do nothing (he already *has* 2 hand damage), but a
V:TES version on a Jyhad Zack North will give him 2+1=3 hand damage, as
will a V:TES version on the V:TES Zack North.
When was Pulse of the Canaille ever cumulative?
I've only got Jyhad and Sabbat Pulses, so I can't say what the V:TES
Pulse actually says, but I would hope that it restricts the Pulse to
just one per vampire like the Sabbat versions.
Then at least it's marginally fair when you're going up against an
Auspex/Obfuscate bleed deck
