With the rewrite of the card giving it +1 hand damage, are multiple Ritual Challenges cumulative?

[ quoted text not captured ] I would imagine that the card would state that a vampire may play only one per game, but since I haven't ever seen a V:tES Ritual Challenge, I have no idea. Alec Chang

Hi Mike, I'm not aware of any ruling forbidding that (and thus it should be allowed as of now). However I believe the RTR will rule that it is not cumulative as is "Pulse of the Canaille". (if they don't I'm in for a houserule saying exactly that :-) Michael -- Michael Gerdau email: m.ge...@elmshorn.netsurf.de 2b or not 2b that's ff (or ger...@ifm.uni-hamburg.de) WWW-Homepage http://elmshorn.netsurf.de/~m.gerdau PGP-key available on request or at public keyserver Key fingerprint = 1FA5AEC97D4EF476 E964D42685B60B4E

The vampire gets +1 hand damage each combat. A vampire may have only one Ritual Challenge card. -- L. My understanding is that Jyhad cards should always be played as though they have V:tES text, so it should not make any difference what card you use. If this is not the case, then the Jyhad versions of Soul Gem of Etrius must be very valuable, for they have 0 pool cost, as opposed to 2. : When was Pulse of the Canaille ever cumulative? I think you misunderstood him. Ritual Challenge is not cumulative as is Pulse of the Canaille (not cumulative). John Whelan

Thus, you *couldn't* play a Jyhad one and then a V:TES one on the same vampire. It's also important to note that a Jyhad Ritual Challenge on Zack North (Jyhad version) will do nothing (he already *has* 2 hand damage), but a V:TES version on a Jyhad Zack North will give him 2+1=3 hand damage, as will a V:TES version on the V:TES Zack North. When was Pulse of the Canaille ever cumulative? I've only got Jyhad and Sabbat Pulses, so I can't say what the V:TES Pulse actually says, but I would hope that it restricts the Pulse to just one per vampire like the Sabbat versions. Then at least it's marginally fair when you're going up against an Auspex/Obfuscate bleed deck Justin Grace http://www.bgrace.demon.co.uk/
