Wake with evening...

i have many wakes, but all from sabbat war or final nights:they say "do not replace until your next untap phase". yesterday i played with a friend that has got some of wizard ones, and they incredibly say "do not replace until after combat" !!! they are valid, or i must costrict him to play them with the new correct effect? thnks, bye!
