I have seen many abbriviation for deck types, specific cards, player rules changes, and all sorts of stuff that I just am having trouble following. If anyone out there is keeping track of the appriviations, I would love to see them Also, I have seen several references to rules changes to make the game more balanced (card limites, percentages, ect). If someone could point the way to these web sites, that would be great. Thanks again for your time. Cheers!!! --

I know he has a list... > Also, I have seen several references to rules changes to make > the game more balanced (card limites, percentages, ect). My own jyhad page (see URL in .sig) houses the Sensible Player's Tournament Rules for Jyhad (SPTR). The SPTR is a player-written, player-supported set of tournament rules with a _fair_ tournament in mind. I have a long-standing challenge for anyone to make a degenerate deck with the SPTR or NL/GT (no limits, Golden Tenets (no vote pushing, no repeat actions)) which has yet to have been met. If you are looking for a balanced Jyhad environment, check out the SPTR. Abbreviations I can think of: GT: Golden Tenets (combining Alan Kwan's and various USENET personalities suggestions into two house rules - no vote pushing, no repeat actions. Coined by me) OTP: One Trick pony (describing a deck that does one thing and does it well. First used this way by LSJ (or was it James McClure?) PR: Percent Restriction (Curt Adams original suggestion limiting the percent of votes in a deck. Coined by Eric Tullis) CL: Card Limits (Typically 4 CL, 6 CL, 10%CL. A method believed by many to make Jyhad balanced (this point is highly contentious on this group)) TOM: Tom Wylie (original net-rep for Jyhad) WVP: Weenie Vote Push (A vote deck consisting of mostly weenies (age 3 or smaller) in an environment that allows vote pushing) S&B: Sneak and Bleed (A deck consisting of +bleed and +stealth cards, typified by Malkavians (and now Setites)) NL: No Limits (The standard rules set for Jyhad. When paired with the GT (above), a method believed by many (including me) to make Jyhad balanced (this point is highly contentious on this group)) ...and many others...
