Card: Shadow Body
Strike, combat ends, and if the acting vampire was attempting
an action other than political or bleeding, the action
continues as if unblocked.
You tried to do something (I don't remember what, but I think
it may have been recruiting an ally/retainer) and player2
blocked. You threw +1 stealth, then she threw +1 intercept,
so you went into combat. You played Shadow Body, so combat
ended. The question was this: is the action still at +1
stealth? And the overwhelming answer was: hell, yes. The
card specifically states: "as if unblocked." You tried
the action and were blocked. Then you played +1 stealth.
Then Felicia played +1 intercept TO BLOCK THE ACTION. Thus,
since the card allows you to continue as if unblocked,
everything played up until the point the action was blocked is
relevant and should remain a part of the action.
I am under the impression that he is wrong, and that when the action
resumes it is NOT at +1 stealth. They seem to think that it is. In my
opinion, player 2 blocked the action, player one drops stealth, player
two counters with +1 intercept and they fight. Player one drops shadow
body and combat ends resuming that the action is not blocked. Is the
action still at +1 stealth that player one dropped or no??
Thanks y'all
