Well as this will be my first GenCon, aside from the actual events is there some means for hooking up with other VTES players for casual games while the Con is in progress? For a 19 hour drive each way I'm hoping to get more than a couple of tournaments in a look forward to some friendly games. -JTP

[ quoted text not captured ] Yes. The "standard" method of finding like-minded players is to go to the TCG area and sit down (preferably near the V:TES area, if it has been established) with your V:TES cards, blood counters, edge marker in plain view. Then wait patiently. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Links to V:TES news, rules, cards, utilities, and tournament calendar: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/

Then wait patiently. I have this wonderful image of a VTES area where a tournament is/was played with a dozen tables near it and one person sitting at each with cards and counters in front of them and doing absolutely nothing. Just thought I would share that with you ;-D

Then wait patiently. The "non-standard" method would be to come to one of the hotels where the V:TES players are congregating. Comfort Suites Inn is, I think, where a good chunk of the players are staying (check http://vtesinla.org). There's another contingent staying downtown somehwere. Also cool. I think our group is staying at the Comfort Inn & Suites (on Capitol) so hopefully thats the same hotel. My backup plan is to wander around in a VTES brujah shirt. The L.A. Group will be hosting an informal 1/2week of nightmares(see Vtesinla.org look under stuff-gallary-week of nightmares) All the info is on the web site about the 1/2 week of nightmares. We will all get together and play till the wee hours in the AM through the entire Con either at the Con it self, if possable, or at the hotel (which is close by) if nessary. MANY from around the country/world will be there to play. Look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions you can post on Vtesinla.org's message board and I'll respond.
