A few questions: This is mainly on the use of 'Spying Mission' (SM) 1. If I make a bleed over 3 and the recieving Meth. plays Archon Investigation can I the play sup-SM to cancel the AI ? 2. If I bleed and the meth. beeing bleed has a 'Major Boon' in play targeting me, and he decides to burn the 'Major Boon' and have me lose pool can I then play sup-SM ? 3. Can you play 'Major Boon' to take a bleed where there have been playde sup-SM 4. Is there a time when I can NOT use master card in play' card drawing effects ? eg. the barrens, The fragment.., the sphinx.... To be precise: -Can I after i declare a action and another minion blocks tap 'the barrens' in hope to draw some stealth ? -In combat I have a blocking minion the oposing minion plays his strike and now I have to make a strike, can I tab 'The Fragment..' in hope to get a strike card I can use ? What cards is there in the game has that 'card drawing' effect ?

I would like to add clarification to LSJ's post. Archon Investigation can only be played when a minion ATTEMPTS to bleed for more than 3. The spying mission can only be played when you SUCESFULLY bleed. Since you were burned, you did not bleed succesfully. However, if you bleed Meth A for 2, and you also have a spying mission in play, the spying mission does not trigger until you have succesfully bled, therefore Meth A cannot play an Archon Investation. <snip> > > 4. The Canonical Example being, if you have the barrens in play and Meth A plays a Barrens, you CANNOT tap yours(to look for a sudden, etc). If someone plays Sudden Reversal to cancel Meth A's Barrens, you could then tap your Barrens, to say look for a sudden and then sudden the sudden and now be contesting the barrens with Meth A. If you wanted to that is... I hope this information helps you understand LSJ's posts more. David Wilson(formerly Oros)

If you wanted to that is... Presumably you could also tap to look for a Sudden because you thought someone else might Sudden the Sudden so that you could reverse that second Sudden and cancel the contest? So if you are planning to Reverse a Sudden that was giong to cancel the contestation of a Barrens, make sure that you ask th eplayer with the Barrens if he wants to tap it before you play ;)

If i thought, from a recent thread, that you COULD tap it, specifically in case you draw a sudden. But that this timing issue is on the RTR review list. LSJ said they can't be tapped when they are contested, which i took to mean when they are already in a contested state, not when they are about to become contested. salem domain:canberra http://www.geocities.com/salem_christ.geo/vtes.htm

The Barrens is contested if another Barrens is played. It cannot be tapped, even to look for a Sudden to save itself from being contested. [ quoted text not captured ]

Right. I re-read that other thread, and realised i got all mixed up. Can we fast track the RT review on the timing of 'card fishing' effects? That way i'll know for sure where i stand instead of just remembering that if the barrens is being contested i could tap my dreams to look for a sudden, and then assume if i can tap my dreams i can tap my barrens, which would be a logical progression. sort of. but wrong. yeah, let's not tap anything.
