Just a few Qn's for those in the know...

I was just looking through a few of my cards and a few questions popped to mind. Arika's special ability, does it affect locquipment? Haven Uncovered VS Secure Haven. Whats the go here? I remembered the other question, The ability of Ambrosius, the Ferryman to place a retainer from the ash heap on a ready vampire. Do any of the requirements of the retainer (ie, requires a certain clan or discipline) apply in this case? Say I used Ambrosius to move a Dog Pack (requiring Gangrel) onto a Giovanni vampire, is this OK? Thanks again, [ quoted text not captured ]

Ambrosius is not "employing" the retainer - he's just moving the retainer card from the ash heap to a vampire you control. So he doesn't have to meet the requirements of employing the retainer. Haven Uncovered (not forgetting you'd have to pay 1 pool to put it on in the first place, if the Secure HAven was already down) allows a (D) action at the vampire to rush it, but that gets blocked by the secure haven.
