I'm trying to complete a Jyhad set, and I heard about multiple versions of some cards : Zip Gun : Weapon, Gun. in bold text Manstopper Rounds : artist name Né Né or Né' Né' Tasha Morgan : added "All Kindred" Renegade Garou : Title written Renegade or Renagade Psychic Projection : title written Psychic or Physchic Hell Hound : first sentence cut after "only" or after "actions," Business Pressure : added "Only usable during..." First Tradition: The Masquerade, The : WORTH 1 vote or COUNTS AS 1 vote Form of Mist : extra space before "Mist" in the title Infernal Pursuit : first sentence cut after "the" or after "com-" IR Goggles : first sentence cut after "maneuver" or "each" Wolf Companion : ??? Pulling Strings : ??? Night Moves : ??? Rampage : ??? Mr. Winthrop : ??? Aura Reading : ??? Bastard Sword : ??? Am I right ? There are behind the cards the differences I've noticed, but I didn't see anything for some of them (I left question marks) Could you enlighten me, please ? François Alix, from France

[ quoted text not captured ] This is indeed true. I have some of them, but not all. I personally decided that it wasn't worth thrying to complete a set, with the multiple differences (some of my friends did) as it was proving costly with the rares at the time. I wasn't aware it was quite as many as you quote here, and I don't have to hand all of them, but you are certainly correct with the following Zip Gun : Weapon, Gun. in bold text Renegade Garou : Title written Renegade or Renagade Psychic Projection : title written Psychic or Physchic Business Pressure : added "Only usable during..." Hope this is of some help. Let me know if you need to find any, and I'll look through what I have. (I know we are not supposed to be trading on this group, but it is only an additional aimed at the person writing post) Andy Setite Ruler of Cambridge VEKN Prince -- Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outragous fortune, or get fat on chocolate cake, eat the cake, life is too short to worry!

The Tasha Morgan difference is also correct, I have both version myself. Roger

All information above are correct ! But, what about the following ? Wolf Companion Pulling Strings Night Moves Rampage Mr. Winthrop Aura Reading Bastard Sword François Alix, from France

Wolf Companion : ??? Pulling Strings : ??? Night Moves : ??? Rampage : ??? Ones that I have, in addition to the ones you listed... Bastard Sword: One version has 2 spaces between "1994" and "Rob" in the artist credit, the other has only a single space. Form of Mist: One version has an extra space between "of" and "Mist" in the title J.S. Simmons, Esq: One version has a space between "J. S." in title, one doesn't Submachine Gun: One version has 2 spaces between "1994" and "Douglas" in the artist credit, the other has only a single space. Man Stopper Rounds: One version has extra ' marks (2 total) on the artist name (Ne''Ne'' Thomas) instead of Ne'Ne' Thomas. Aura Reading: Different margins. Mr Winthrop: Differnt font sizes. The others probably have similar font/margin differences if any. Those types of mistakes are very hard to detect and tiny. Especially since you might not have both, so you will go blind trying to find the differences! -- Aaron The Nosferatu Stuff

Are you sure it is complete, and that they are no other differences of cards within the jyhad set that are not on your list? Thanks, Menno

> ok, here is it : > Here is a complete list of the known variations: A few questions/remarks regarding this list. Pulled fangs: Could someone explain the difference between the two versions? i own 6 jyhad versions, but i dont see a difference at all. What should i be looking for? Misplaced title spacing (up/down); These are really hard too see! I am blessed with above average eyes, but the difference is so small. I estimate the difference between the versions to be less than 0.5 milimeter. Murder of Crows: The same. The difference of the position of the 1 in the cost icon is very very small. Off-centered cards: I noticed that many cards of the jyhad expansion are off centered as well (all up/down). Does anybody know if that are random occurrences, and that the majority of the cards exist both off- and properly centered? Or is it the same case with the misprints on this list, and are the off-centered cards replaced by better centered ones in more recent printings of the jyhad set? Other sets: Is jyhad the only set with different versions in one set? I know Sabbat War has a few, and i would appreciate a list of cards with different versions. I also know that the V:tes set has a few odd colored cards (bonding) but i don't know if that has been corrected in further printings of V:tes. Are there any other sets? Needed: Below are the cards i still need to complete the Jyhad set (and a couple of bloodlines). If anybody can help me out, please contact me privatly to see if we can work something out Bloodlines: Murcia's Call Nightmare's Curse Erebus Mask >Jyhad 2 version-cards: > Bastard Sword : Illustrator spacing is different > Business Pressure : One has "Only usable during a political action". > Chainsaw : Illustrator spacing is different > 1st Tradition, The: "worth 1 vote" is replaced by "counts as 1 vote". > Form of Mist : Title spacing is different. > Hell Hound : Font size is different. > Infernal Pursuit : One has semi-colon were the other has a period. > Manstopper Rounds : Illustrator name is spelled differently. > Psychic Projection: Psychic/Physchic, in title of card. > Pulled Fangs : Body text spacing (up/down) is different, look above > an "l" > Renegade Garou : Renegade/Renagade, in title of card. > Ritual of the Bitter Rose : Title spacing (up/down) is different, look > above the "l". > Sport Bikes : Position of the 1 in the blood drop is different. > Submachine Gun : Illustrator spacing is different. I've got the two versions of Pulled Fangs, and the difference is very very small (as you said, less than 0.5 mm...) To complete my collection, I left the five cards with title spacing, too hard to check !
