We have been playing Jyhad and want to know how these cards should be interpreted. When playing the soul gem on a 8 vampire, if the vampire is burned and the tope card on the library is also an 8, what happens? The card says that when a younger vampire is chosen is goes into the game at full capacity, and when an older vampire is chosen it comes into the uncontrolled region and the gem is burned. Since the vampires are the same capacity, the age is the same. My interpretation was that the soul gem takes the total capacity of the vampire and transfers it to another. Since they are the same capacity, the gem should make the transfer and stay with the vampire. Also, the Malkavian Dementia card says that the vampire will remain under the control of the Methuselah who played the card until the next untap phase. Since the card mentions the untap phase, does this mean that the vampire comes back untapped. Please let me know because these situations are occuring. -- ------------------------------------------- Kimberly E. Newman Ga Tech -------------------------------------------

I will add it to the list. Use the "younger" option for now. >Also, the Malkavian Dementia card says that the vampire will remain under >the control of the Methuselah who played the card until the next untap phase. >Since the card mentions the untap phase, does this mean that the vampire >comes back untapped. Yes. You untap everything, then do all your "during untap" things. Tom Wylie rec.games.deckmaster Network Representative for aahz@hal.com Wizards of the Coast, Inc.
