Three questions about the Toreador Grand Ball: What happens to it when the host(Toreador that gets tapped) goes to Torpor? What happens when the host is burned? If the 'hosted' vampire changes its clan, is it still unblockable? (Think Maskika as Archon, changed to Malkavian, with a Madness Network out). -- Tom Doehne doe...@cse.ogi.edu doe...@agora.rdrop.com

Those Toreador Ball questions make my head hurt. I guess I am not cut out to be a rules expert. Talk about the skinny end of nothing whittled down to a point ! Did those situations really come up, Thomas? Chick...@aol.com 3930 Cody Road Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 day 714-558-9444 eve 818-784-8476

The requirements for this card to be played are two ready Toreador, and one of them must be tapped during the play of the card. The Grand Ball is then affected by directed actions to burn the card. This seems to me like what happens to a Warzone Hunting Ground in a mixed clan deck when all your Brujah have been burned. Nothing. I would think a clan change would just keep the card in play affecting the same two vampires regardless of what clan they are now. If the other players don't directly burn the Grand Ball then all its effects are still active. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- pheersum inhabits the mortal shell of eric schultheis. one channels phee...@sb.net. the oracle speaks--"life is uncertain, eat desert first!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------

I used a Wake to allow the 'host' to intercept. Host went to torpor, and later was diablerized, after some discussion of what ought to happen to the Ball. We agreed to discard it if the 'host' was diablerized, but not if the vampire merely went to torpor. And also that we should ask the rulesmongers on the net.... -- Tom Doehne doe...@cse.ogi.edu
