Does anyone on this group know or themselves play the game in Salem, Oregon, USA? Please let me know. Mike J. Burwell

In a standard booster draft tournament for Jyhad/V:TES, what happens when a player fails to draft at least 12 vampires for his crypt? Is that player disqualified? What does one do in the case of ante cards? Are they drafted, but not allowed to be used in a player's deck, or should the cards be replaced somehow? Also, where can I find the rules for the non-sanctioned Elder Draft tournament format? - Ben Peal, Prince of Boston fu...@mindstorm.com Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

If there is no mechanism is provided by the tournament organizer for the player to make a legal deck [DCI 62], then yes. > What does one do in the case of ante cards? If the tournament organizer provides a mechanism for the replacement of certain cards [DCI 62], then they can be replaced as allowed. Regardless, all cards are playable only inasfar as allowed by card text (and the banned list), so while you could put an Ante card in your deck (it is not on the banned list for limited formats), you would not be able to play it, since it is "only usable if playing for ante". -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) V:TES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
