Q: Can you play Giant's Blood on an _uncontrolled_ vampire?
It's quite a strong card if you can bring a 10-blood heavy-hitter
in on the first round - without paying a single pool!
The card text does not restrict the target vampire choice in any way...
is it a mistake? Any house rulings / official answers appreciated,
thanks in advance.
** Yeah, I play Malkavian/Tremere too - but just because I like the pictures!

Well this is not an official ruling, but I was always under the impression
that no non-ready or uncontrolled vampires could use ANY card unless it
speciffically says otherwise. I think this is much easier, and makes more
sense, then expecting each card to disclaim effecting uncontrolled vampires.

Rulings on Minion Tap and Blood doll made it clear that Master cards
can be played on vampires in torpor. However, you can't play Master
cards on *any* uncontrolled vampires. So, you can play them on
ready vampires, and vampires in torpor, unless the card restricts
or allows you otherwise.

Master cards cannot be played on uncontrolled vampires unless they
specifically say so (e.g., Brainwash). In general, only effects
which specifically talk about uncontrolled vampires can interact
with them.
