CUNCTATOR MOTION: MADISON Sponsored by the Madison Elder Kindred Network and White Wolf, Inc DATE Sunday, November 18th, 2001. Registration starts at 11am, we will try to begin at Noon. FORMAT This is a *FREE* V:EKN sanctioned (constructed) tournament! See http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/veknRules.html for further details. Three 2-hour rounds for qualifying, with a 5-player 2-hour final. PRIZE SUPPORT Prizes include Sabbat War packs + V:TES starters for the finalists. Also, every player attending the tournament will receive a special Cunctator Motion "foil"-type card! A Madison special! LOCATION The tournament will be held at the University of Wisconsin Student Union at 800 Langdon Street, in Madison, Wisconsin. (I suggest http://www.MapQuest.com for directions.) When you get inside the Union, the main board has a TODAY IN THE UNION sign posted where you can look for our room under "Madison Elder Kindred Network". PARKING There is a close-up map of the downtown campus at http://www.union.wisc.edu/images/mupark.gif. I suggest parking in the LAKE STREET RAMP and just walking over to the Union, since that ramp is usually $1 for the whole day on weekends. FOOD The Union has a bar, a buffet-type restaurant, and an ice cream/munchies counter. There is also a McDonald's, Taco Bell, Burger King, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, and 14 bars within 4 blocks. =) Remember to bring all your trade stuff. In Madison, we live to trade, and we trade to live. A Madison special! Is that special card an offical WW V:TES promo, a selfmade card or something else? I am interested because i heard something about WW releasing special promos that can only be acquired in some sanctioned tournaments

Steve Wieck has just passed on the news that the Bloodlines promotional card, Baron Samedi, will be appearing in your favorite CCG magazine very soon. Also, Steve hinted at the possibility of having exclusive promo cards which will be given away at various V:TES events. " A number of people have requested such in the past, as it gives some incentive for tournament attendance - like when people could give away Dan and Mariana at tournaments. -- James Coupe Everybody knows that "No" means "Yes" PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D Just like glasses come free on the NHS EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 But the more I look through them the more I see 13D7E668C3695D623D5D I'm becoming more like Alfie

" Yes, i was referring to that statement Can anybody confirm whether the mentioned card is indeed the promo card that is meant here?

[ quoted text not captured ] The special "foil" card mentioned above is not made by WW, and is not the promo card described by WW above. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. [ quoted text not captured ] As LSJ has already stated, the card you will be receiving at my tournament is NOT affiliated with WW in any way, nor is it WW's special promo-type card. It is something I contracted with a local printer here in Madison to do with me. It is special and neat, but has nothing to do with WW, really. LSJ, email me privately if you feel the need to query me further on this. Thanks. :) [ quoted text not captured ]
