Greetings :) I just wanted to get some clarification about the limits of playing one card of any type per action. Does this apply to things like stealth increase modifiers such as 'lost in the crowds'? I am pretty sure you can only play 1 of it to push an action through, and then only if the stealth is needed but some members of my coterie wanted this clarified and for the life of me I can't remember hwre the rule is written to display this rule. Then there is the question of combat. Does the limit apply there too? Can a the same damage reducer for instance be played twice during a combat? Can it be played twice in one round? Can it be played twice spread over 2 rounds? If anyone can point me towards a clear clarification of this limit of one card so that I can a) be fully sure of the ruling myself and b) explain it and display that ruling to my coterie, I'd much appreciate it :) Simidh: Ventrue Prince Of Adelaide __ __ ,-~_~, __ ,-._______.-.___.----------' '--~~ ~~ (___\`, (__ . _ _ . __/ )_ ',_.-------._.---.__________ __ ) __)( / ) )( (_/ / ) `--' ~~--~~,(~_~/,' -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Email: sim...@vampire.tne.net.au ~---' URL: vampire.tne.net.au

Therefore one could only play one Lost in Crowds or one Heightened Senses. Even if the action modifier or reaction allows different abilities at basic and superior levels, it can only be played once. Note that Cloak the Gathering can essentially be played multiple times at Superior level, since other vampires are "playing" the card for the given action. Combat cards on the other hand have no limit. One can use as many Skin of Rocks, Fakeouts, or whatever as one would like to. Halcyan 2

Minion Cards 2. Action modifier cards: The acting minion can play these cards to modify his action. For example, some action modifiers increase the acting minion's stealth or bleed amount, or give him more votes. A minion cannot play the same action modifier more than once during a single action. 5. Reaction cards: A ready untapped minion can play a reaction card in response to an action taken by another Methuselah's minion (an action taken by one of a Methuselah's minions cannot be reacted to by any of her own minions). A minion cannot play the same reaction card more than once during a single action. A reaction card does not tap the minion using it. 6.2.2. Resolve Any Block Attempts 2. Stealth and Intercept. [...] Stealth can be added during an action only when needed (that is, only if the action is currently being blocked and the blocking minion has enough intercept to block the acting minion). Likewise, intercept can be added during an action only when needed (that is, only by a blocking minion when the acting minion's stealth exceeds his intercept). > Then there is the question of combat.
