(LSJ) Open Dossier question

Something I noticed was absent from the text on Open Dossier was the ability to play further intercept cards. There is no "may play reaction cards as if untapped". I.e If I choose to play open dossier, the card text limits me to blocking, but it gives the +2 intercept and possible maneuver. Say I'm unlucky, and the opposing minion plays forgotten labyrinth. I'm attempting to block, but I'm currently failing. Card text doesn't mention "can play reaction cards as if untapped during this block attempt". Sure I can tap a master for another +1 or something, but the reacting minion can't play anything else. Am I right, or is it that the block attempt gives the right to continue to play reactions?

The block attempt continues until it becomes unsuccessful - for instance, you could continue to try to block while getting more intercept from locations, being Babbled, and so forth. However, you have no ability to play further reaction cards with that vampire 'as if untapped', so if that vampire wants to play reaction cards for more intercept, he'll need to find some other way to untap (or count as untapped for those cards.) -John Flournoy
