I惴 sure this has been up 1000+ times here, but I have to ask one more time. I can愒 seem to find the relevant rulings or comments from any relevant person. The question is what happens when you play Psyche! after Undead Persistence? Example (very simplified situation for everybodys sake): Player A愀 minion is going to torpor at end of round. Player A plays Undead Persistence. No presses. Player A plays Psyche! Every rule I know points that Psyche! cannot even be played, but then I heard some funny rumours and saw some decks...

What points to Psyche! not being playable? Vampire has superior celerity (check). Combat is ending (check). Both combatants are ready (check). No other requirements (check). A new combat starts. The Undead Persistence is no longer performing its function of keeping the vampire out of torpor, so the new combat ends with the vampire going to torpor (unless he plays another Undead Persistence for the new combat). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
