So now you could play a blur and have a total of 3 additional strikes. Joe C. VEKN: Prince of Columbia, SC Editor: Tzimisce Clan Newsletter Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

It gives an additional strike, and it allows the vampire to play another card (like Blur) to gain even more additional strikes. Similar to the way Command of the Beast gives +1 bleed. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) V:TES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. Quickness is played as your first source for additional strikes, it does not count against the "one card resource for additional strikes, per round" restriction that is a part of the main rules. Thus, you can play sup. Quickness followed by sup. Blur for a total of three additional strikes, etc. Regards, R. David Zopf Atom Weaver V:EKN Prince of Charlotte, NC

On a completely random note, since we're talking about additional strikes, I was sort of wondering about the max number of additional strikes one can get w/o using the cheap Lightning Reflexes card (let's see, I'll burn 20 blood off my 21 cap vamp...). From what I can think of, you have that one Sabbat vamp that gets an additional strike every combat (!Brujah I think), get a Sword of Judgment, a Quickness, and then a Blur. That's a hefty total of 6 strikes (5 extra's). Speaking of Lightning Reflexes, I think it would be REALLY nasty in a Tremere Thau/Cel deck. Put a load of those in, lots of Theft's, and a few Walks. First round, play Lightning and get lots of strikes, each of which is a Theft. Not only will you fill up completely, you'll almost surely drain your opponent. I'm sure this is one of the more obvious uses but...oh well. Also, watch out for those Majesties (though with that much stolen blood, I'm sure you can fit a Thoughts Betrayed in there). Halcyan 2

That's a hefty total of 6 strikes (5 > extra's). The Sword of Judgement would count as his source of additional strikes, rpeventing the Blur from being used. -- James Coupe
