[LSJ] TB vs Elysium Question

Thoughts Betrayed only stops cards going from your hand. Since the Elysium is in play, it can be tapped to end combat. I've thought of that fact. But what's important for me is that if i have Elysium untapped, i want the other Player to see it clearly. If he plays a TB, he wastes one precious card, since i'll tap the Elysium. If he don't I can play MY cards! This could give me some advantage: if it's not my turn then i'll play TB instead of him!
