Is it just me or are the card symbols that sre supposed to be on the right border are actually on the left?

Actually they are on the right border. Someone played the Mirror Universe Legends card on this planet, and so everything is backwards. My bet is that between the time the rules were sent to the printer and the time that the cards were sent to the printer, WotC figured out that if you put the icons on the left, they'll be visible on all of your hand's cards. Assuming that you hold them in the traditional "poker hand" spreading. And perhaps assuming right-handedness. Actually, this was pointed out by Mike Helba (m.helba@genie.com), to give credit where it is due. -- Dougal Campbell | Check out the interQuest home page: System Administrator | http://www.iquest.com/ dougal@iquest.com | (Under Construction)

The symbols were originally planned to be where the rulebook says they are, until someone realized that the way most people fan their cards in their hand, that would make the symbols hidden and thus unreadable, which is bad. Thus, the symbols got moved to the left side of the card, but for whatever reason, the rulebook never got updated. The corrected rulebook displays the cards' format correctly. So, is there anyway to get this corrected rulebook? Do ya'll have it as a postable file or something like that? rob derrick

I talked with various folk at GenCon, and they are all for having the latest updates available on line, and will be working with me more closely in the future. I'm awaiting a copy of the latest Jhyad rules (there's a copy that's more current than what was handed out at GenCon!), and as soon as I have it, I'll be making the text file available, and working on a www version which should have symbols and all.
