A quick question: Al-Ashrad can as a (D) action that costs 2 blood, Al-Ashrad can burn a location that requires a Camarilla clan to bring into play. Now cards such as Giovanni/Ravnos Acceptance, Revocation of Tyre, and Invitation Accepted say that all vampires of the appropriate clan become Camarilla and that all options available to Cam clans are now open to the newly joined clan. But is the new clan considered a "Camarilla clan" for cases such as Al-Ashrad? I'd *like* to say no, since it's not explicit... Halcyan 2

Yes the new clan (Ravnos or Giovanni in your example) are now considured a Camarilla caln. Any of those clan specific locations may be burned by Al-Ashrad since they are now a Camarilla clan specific location (due to the acceptance or other previous card played to change clans) Also note that if, for example, Giovanni Acceptance (or other similar card) was played ALL Giovanni (or related clan) take advatage of the new status, even other players Vampires that did not play the status change card. The first part of each of the acceptance cards seems to deal with individual vampires of the given clan rather than the clan itself. But the second part indicates that it is the clan itself that is affected. End result: one of the "options available" to Camarilla clans is that their locations can be burned by Al-Ashrad. This option is extended to, for example, the Giovanni after a successful Giovanni Acceptance referendum. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
