Political Struggle says "If the vampire with this card is burned or sent into torpor, the acting vampire gains X votes, where X is the number of non-contested votes the vampire with this card has; burn this card afterwards." Does the Struggle-playing vampire "gain" the votes *from* the Struggle-targeted vampire? The way it's written, it sounds like the votes are created by the Struggle itself, and both the "victim" and the Struggler will have X votes, if the victim comes back out of torpor after the Struggler gains the votes. But I wanted to make sure... Josh Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

[ quoted text not captured ] You can continue to drop more Struggles and keep yo-yo-ing the guy in and out of torpor, piling up votes, yes. Note that with Regent, you can drop the card on a guy, call Political Struggle on him, rush him, torporize and Amaranth, gaining 4 votes from the Struggle for burning the vampire, and the move the Regent card (before the bloodhunt, per card text) for 4 MORE votes, giving *8* votes to the guy who had none at the start of the turn, likely able to shut down the Blood Hunt/ Wyld Hunt all his own. Now if only I had more than one Regent. . . -- Pat Ricochet Soul Jar'rn Fool of Atlanta
