Sorry if I'm asking so many questions, but the tournament is today, and I have to know it all !!! :-) Can you really play many times the same manoeuvers and "before strike" during the same action ? Even under NRA ? -- Yours, Orpheus, Prince of Marseille http://no.exit.free.fr (onlive novel) http://cypheranima.free.fr (goth band) news://news.zoo-logique.org/VTES-francophone audio...@yahoogroups.com

Even under NRA ? In general, yes. Just remember: #1.) Card text may prevent multiple copies from being played (you can only play one IG each round or one Carrion Crows each combat). #2.) You can't cancel your own manuevers or presses. (But if they say, keep manuevering to long, you can keep manuevering to close with multiple copies of Flash). #3.) And then other basic stuff like being only able to gain additional strikes from one source, etc. #4.) NRA has nothing to do with it. NRA only applies to taking actions. (Alternatively, there are restrictions on action modifiers, reactions, and stealth/intercept). But overall, yes, the following is possible: Vampire A and B get into combat: Vampire A plays 7 Traps. Vampire B plays 3 Apparitions. Vampire A manuevers to long with Flash. Vampire B manuevers to close with Gleam of the Red Eyes. Vampire A manuevers to long with Flash. Vampire B manuevers to close with Gleam Vampire A manuevers to long with Flash. Vampire B manuevers to close with Gleam Vampire A manuevers to long with Flash. Vampire B manuevers to close with Gleam Vampire A manuevers to long with Flash. Vampire B manuevers to close with Gleam Vampire A plays a Disguised Weapon to equip with a Sengir Dagger Vampire A plays a Disguised Weapon to equip with a Ivory Bow Vampire A plays a Disguised Weapon to equip with a Assault Rifle Vampire A plays a Disguised Weapon to equip with a Meat Hook Vampire A strikes with Mummify (who knows why!) Vampire B plays The Jones to cancel it Vampire A strikes with another Mummify Methusaleh B DI's the Mummify Vampire A strikes with yet another Mummify Vampire B is actually Watenda, who uses his special to cancel the Mummify strike Damnit, Vamp A is out of Mummifies and just does whatever. Etc, etc, etc. Halcyan 2

Yes, allowing for card text. And, with manuevers, someone else needs to cancel yours, of course. > Even under NRA ? NRA is no repeat actions. You also can't repeat action modifiers or reactions with the same minion per action (the rules). Combat cards are neither. -- James Coupe but I lust after the raw pow0r of c. But then another question : can you first TC a bleed, and then (like if the guy adds more) decide you prefer to deflect ? If so, can you do it with the wame minion ? With another one ? Up until the point you actually take the bleed, you can deflect it at any point you have an opportunity to play cards. Similarly Telepathic Counter (or similar bleed reductions). >If so, can you do it with >the wame minion ? With another one ? You can do both with the same one. They're two separate reaction cards. (Though they have to be untapped or woken or whatever.) If there were a hypothetical reaction card which had bleed reduction at inferior and bleed bounce at superior, you wouldn't be able to play it with the same minion - since that would be playing the same action modifier or reaction more than once during an action with the same minion. That reminds me. If my opponent plays immortal grapple, I can still play mine for the press right? And to cycle the card. Wisefool Mercuriel
