Because: B) My Predator plays Army of Rats. I don't block. Her Predator also declines to block (Duh!). Anneke now blocks. So, in general, when can Anneke block? 1) Anytime. 2) During the (hitherto unknown) "Assign blockers" phase. ("Does the target Methuselah wish to block?" "No." "Does Anneke block?" "No." "I play conditioning, bleeding you at +3!" or "Does my prey block?" "No." "Does my predator block?" "No." "Does Anneke block?" "No." ) Thanks, L. Scott
