I d like to know if I played that game properly: Dollface is equipped with a Talbots chain and a .44 magnum. Is this legal? She attacks a minion and uses the magnum, preventing damage with the chainsaw. Is this legal? Can she press using the Talbots chainsaw? Is she forced to press since it is not an optional press? If so, Is she supposed to press even if her opponent to continue combat? Thanks for all

While it's true that if you use a weapon's maneuver then you must use it as a strike, I'm not sure whether that's meant to extend to using the weapon for pressing or damage prevention. Probably it does not, since neither function happens until after strikes are declared; this means that I think you can use the Magnum to strike (and perhaps maneuver), and then use the Chainsaw to prevent damage and to press. I'll check on that. Tom Wylie rec.games.deckmaster Network Representative for aahz@hal.com Wizards of the Coast, Inc.
