Question 1: I have Quentin and my prey has Gratiano. Quentin calls a vote and sunsequently uses his special to cancel Gratiano's votes. My prey then uses Surprise influence to add 2 votes. Are _all_ Gratiano's votes canceled including votes gained after the cancel effect or does he still get the two from Surprise Influence since it was played _after_ his votes were canceled? Also, if Gratiano's votes, being the only Priscus on the table, are canceled, does the subreferendum abstain from voting? Question 2: If multiple players would be ousted from a single effect (i.e., Anarchist Uprising), who would get ousted first, who gains VP and pool? Example: I have 6 pool My Predator has 2 pool and 4 minions My Grandpredator has 1 pool and 3 minions I play Anarchist Uprising and the vote succeds. Although in reality I didn't pull off AU, I figured it would go simultaneously, but that didn't seem to make much sense that my Grand-Grand-Predator would stand to gain a couple of VPs. All of his votes are cancelled. Yes. Online Rulebook, section 6.3.3 http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/rulebook/ > Question 2: If multiple players would be ousted from a single effect > (i.e., Anarchist Uprising), who would get ousted first, who gains VP > and pool? They are all ousted at the same time. Only those Methuselahs still in the game will gain pool, but all Methuselahs whose prey were ousted will gain victory points. See section 9.1 of the online rulebook, where this is explicitly discussed. http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/rulebook/ > Example: > I have 6 pool > My Predator has 2 pool and 4 minions > My Grandpredator has 1 pool and 3 minions > I play Anarchist Uprising and the vote succeds. > Although in reality I didn't pull off AU, I figured it would go > simultaneously, but that didn't seem to make much sense that my > Grand-Grand-Predator would stand to gain a couple of VPs. Your Grand-predator gains 1 victory point and is ousted. Your Great-Grand-predator gains 1 victory point and 6 pool. Carpe noctem.
