TOM: need circle ruling + jyhad question

Tom, Can a COP prevent damage from spells like earthquake and hurricane ? How about damage from pestilence ? Are there any deck construction limits for Jyhad ? thanks, PMH

This one is easy. CoPs prevent damage from any one SOURCE. Enchantment, artifact, creature, instant, lawsuit, whatever. If damage comes from it (and "it" is the correct color), you may use CoP to protect yourself. Easy, yes? : Are there any deck construction limits for Jyhad ? Only on the size of the decks. It's in the rules. There are no restricted Jyhad cards. Around here, we all play with a 4-card limit (as in Magic), just to keep the Malkavian decks under control (a 40-card deck with 20 Conditionings! whee!)... will the Convocation rules be of that type, or something completely different?
