Tom,
Can a COP prevent damage from spells like earthquake and hurricane ?
How about damage from pestilence ?
Are there any deck construction limits for Jyhad ?
thanks,
PMH

Why ask Tom? This one is easy.
CoPs prevent damage from any one SOURCE.
Enchantment, artifact, creature, instant, lawsuit, whatever.
If damage comes from it (and "it" is the correct color), you may
use CoP to protect yourself. Easy, yes?

Only on the size of the decks. It's in the rules.
There are no restricted Jyhad cards.

A CoP: <color> Can prevent damage to yourself only from anything, so long
as it is the right color and you spend (1) per event.

I'm not Tom, but yes, a CoP can stop that damage, it says nothing about
the damage having to be targetted, just what color it has to be.

Circles don't care why you're taking damage, just what color it is.
Yes, they can be powered up against damage done by a non-targetted effect.

The only limits in the rulebook are the minimum of 40, and the maximum
of 40 + (10 * no. of players). No Convocation Jyhad rules have
been released.

Any idea how strict the Convocation Jyhad rules will be, compared to
those for Magic? Around here, we all play with a 4-card limit (as in
Magic), just to keep the Malkavian decks under control (a 40-card deck
with 20 Conditionings! whee!)... will the Convocation rules be of that
type, or something completely different? And does anyone know when
these rules will be released?
