Can Allies Equip with things? (I always thought so..., I mean a Garou with a .44 is an RPG Launcher would be awesome) If YES, then can non-humanoids (ie dogs, birds, etc.) use guns... snicker... Where in the rulebook is this covered. Bill Gibson /~\ Human Interface Critic Apple Multimedia Mogul \ MtG, ST:Tng CCG, Jyhad card games bgi...@netcom.com \_/ Mac, 3DO, SNES, and Genesis games

Much safer to send a Vamp to go get the damn thing, though, and have them trade off later. >If YES, then can non-humanoids (ie dogs, birds, etc.) use guns...snicker... Sure thing. You thought Magic had odd combos? If only my group would let me equip the Hell Hound with a Flak Jacket, a Laptop, and the Ivory Bow (hmm, maybe a bike?) >Where in the rulebook is this covered. Fook the rulebook, it's our damn game. Jack Dracula malkav's towelboy

However, the birds are all retainers, and the dog can take no actions, only block (RTFC). | If you've got a hot lead on a new | *--Joe--* | PC game, call the announce line at | js...@vt.edu | ** csi...@discus.ise.vt.edu ** | +-------------------------------------+---------------------------------- "Carnivores, oy!" -- Timon, TLK

Note that the section on "Equip Minions" (page 22) keeps talking about giving your "minions" equipment, which means "vampires and allies". In theory a non-humanoid ally could get equipment, but as someone else pointed out, there don't happen to be any that can. The Hell Hound cannot equip with anything because he can take NO actions only block, thus he can neither equip himself or take equipment from another minion.
