in tournament, do players legally have the right to :
- write things related to the game on a piece of paper (for personnal use
only) ?
- when they can put cards back into their library, put them face down but
head over toes (as 3rd Eds are) in the following cases : a) no sleeves or
transparent sleeves b) plain opaque sleeves that look the same in either
sense c) opaque sleeves where you can tell if they're upside down or not
Thanks,

Still not on LSJ's Killfile ?

Yes. See "taking notes" [V:EKN 1.4]

returning cards to the library is no different than assembling the
library in the first place -- so long as it isn't marked, it's OK.
If there's only one card "head over toes", then that's marked (and
illegal).
Note: you can always tell if a sleeve is upside down or not -- it's
open at only one end.

Ok.

Those 2 sentences raise more questions :
- "only 1" ? What about the 3 (times X) cards you put back into your library
with the Heart of Nizchetus ?
- does it mean that you wouldn't have the right to do it if no other card is
"head over toes" yet, but you would if there are other already ?
- Is there a ratio of non-sleeved 3rd Ed cards allowed in the deck yet (as
with Jyhad) ?
- Do you have to put all non-sleeved cards in the same sense no matter
which edition they come from ? If not, why would it be different with
sleeved cards ?

Agreed, although it's harder to see on some than others. And it's certainly
harder to recognize than a 3rd ed non-sleeved card, flipped over.

Same issue. By placing HoN cards "updside down", you are marking them.

Correct. You do not have the right to mark cards during the game.

Explicitly, no. Implicitly, yes. Enough so that they aren't marked. If
a Judge can recognize a pattern in the nature of your cardbacking, they
are marked.

No. As a matter of fact, I highly recommend giving someone's deck a
half-twist when you cut it.

lol. Never thought about that one. I guess 3rd Ed will induce new
anti-cheating strategies for the more paranoid among us...

Same, per the first sentence. The second sentence is an example, not an
exhaustive list.

Yes, per the first sentence.
> - Is there a ratio of non-sleeved 3rd Ed cards allowed in the deck yet (as

There is no explicit ratio for 3rd Ed, just as there is none for Jyhad.
The prohibition is against marking.
> - Do you have to put all non-sleeved cards in the same sense no matter

You may mix them so long as the mixing doesn't constitute a marking.
That rule applies to all cards, no matter what expansion.
> If not, why would it be different with
> sleeved cards ?
It is not different for sleeved cards.
No marked pattern is allowed for sleeves just as no marked pattern is
allowed for unsleeved cards.
