Is the current ruling on Brainwash that I can't transfer off from a Brainwashed vampire? What's the rationale of this errata? This seems to be against the WotC policy of issuing (in other cases, often well-deserved) erratas. This one seems completely unnecessary to me. No one has ever complained that a Brainwash is `wallpaper' or `too costly to play' if blood cannot be taken off, that I've heard of. -- "Live Life with Heart." Alan Kwan kw...@cs.cornell.edu

It's clarification. All transfers are made "to" a vampire. Sometimes this moves a blood to the vampire, sometimes it can be used to move a blood from the vampire. Brainwash: You can't make any transfers to the vampire. It takes one tranfer _to_ the vampire to transfer a blood to him, and it takes two transfers _to_ the vampire to transfer a blood from him. Since many people refer to spending transfers to a vampire to move blood back to one's own pool as a "transfer from the vampire", the DT cleared things up. -- L.
