Two hopefully quick questions:
<1> Can reaction cards ever be played in your turn? I am referring to 2
specific situations. The first is a reaction card that allows you votes. I
know the rules specify that reaction cards cannot be played during your turn,
but I wasn't sure if that was an error, or if that was a specific limitation
of that card. Second, a friend tried to play a reaction card (I think it was
called
'Delayed Tactics') to a vote called by another methuselah after he burned a
vampire in torpor (oops, he diablarized it!) for a bloodhunt. In the spirit
of the game, our group felt that instead, reaction cards could only be played
in response to another methuselah's action, and not your own.
<2> I've never suggested card possibilities before, and I was wondering who
we would write to give suggestions, if anyone. For example, an action card
which allows a minion to untap other minions controlled by the same methuselah,
at a cost of the minions blood, or even a reaction card. Our group has played
many games already, and we all have a subtle feeling like things are to
restrictive. I know, that as expansions come out, that this will correct
itself.
Thanks for your time,
Christian Stone
I did not catch the restriction in the rules about the reaction
cards not being able to be played during your turn. I feel that
reaction cards should be only allowed to be played as a reaction to
another methusela's actions. This means no reacting to your own
minion's actions and other such things. As for the restriction that
they not be played during your turn I think that is bogus. as long as
you are directly reacting to another methusela's actions you should be
able to play the card.

But how often does that come up? The only card I've seen that lets
you take actions when it's not your turn is Malkavian Madness Network.
Sure, that could be used to let you bleed at +stealth during your
Prey's turn, and the limit that they couldn't play any +intercept
Reaction cards at that time could really hurt, but then, MMN is
supposed to be a pretty cool card, no? An insane Malkavian getting
secret information from out of nowhere should be able to pull off some
nasty stuff.

No. There are some vote cards which only modify your votes, and there are
some vote cards which only modify other Methusaleh's votes. Just hope you
have the right kind in your hand ;)

You cannot play action modifier or reaction cards to modify a bloodhunt
vote (section 17.1), as no action was taken to call the vote.

I strongly suspect that Jyhad card ideas will follow the same policy
as Magic card ideas, namely that we don't take individual card ideas but
will look at ideas for expansion sets.

This I agree with...

The Grenade as well I would assume??? :)

Or is that a typo? :)
I SPEAK FOR ME!! To try and foist my opnions off as those of my employer or
employer's employer (isn't contract work complicated?) would be ludicrous
and probably result in the loss of my job, and my access... thusly, if I
were to try and represent either of them, I'd be committing electronic
suicide... NO WAY!! -- Sir Geoffrey news@tyr.scnet.rl.af.mil

The Grenade is burned when used, so therefore is usable only once.

All additional strikes would happen during that same round, so what I
said does not apply :) Only if the combat presses to another round
does the range reset.

No that mean that additional strikes THIS round are done at the same range
as the first strike THIS round. On the next combat round (if any) any
additional strikes will be at the same range set of that round, and so on.
