Im pretty new to this game and have, as you may have guessed, a plethora of queries. 1. Can a vampire who's tapped with haven uncoverd or bloodhunt on him defend himself if attacked? 2. if a blocking vampire has more intercept than the bleeders stealth do they still go to combat? 3. do cards like ascention, minion tap, gird minions and effective management get burned after you play them? 4. Does a vampire who calls a vote get to vote or does he just get the vote from the vote card?

All that you're checking is whether the intercept equals or exceeds the stealth. >3. do cards like ascention, minion tap, gird minions and effective >management get burned after you play them? Yes. Master cards are burned when used unless they say "play on such-and-such", they are a skill or location, or they give a condition for being burned or stolen. >4. Assuming you used a political card for the action (as opposed to, say, voting to burn an Anarch Revolt), then you get a vote for that card, in addition to whatever votes you generate normally. This can include using the acting vampire to generate votes. Tom Wylie rec.games.trading-cards.* Network Representative for aa...@cats.ucsc.edu Wizards of the Coast, Inc.

I block your action, which stops that action, and we have a fight about it. >3. do cards like ascention, minion tap, gird minions and effective >management get burned after you play them? Yep. Cards only stick around if they say so, or are equipment, location, ally, or retainer cards. >4. Does a vampire who calls a vote get to vote or does he just get the >vote from the vote card? He can vote (if he's titled), and gets the extra vote card vote too. Peace be with you, Being tapped has no effect on a minions ability to do anything in combat. Being tapped just shows that you have acted/blocked and cannot act/block again until after the controlling Meth's next Untap Phase. >2. if a blocking vampire has more intercept than the bleeders stealth do >they still go to combat? Yes, if the blocking minions intercept >= acting minion, then the action is blocked and combat ensues. >3. do cards like ascention, minion tap, gird minions and effective >management get burned after you play them? Yes, if a Master card does not say that it has a continuing effect (locations, for example) it is burned after use. >4. Does a vampire who calls a vote get to vote or does he just get the >vote from the vote card? The politial action card played to call a vote provides one vote for the Meth controlling the acting minion. Vampires can only vote if they have titles or play a card which grants them votes. The Methuselah controlling the vampire who calls a vote can also vote (i.e play vote cards, give up the edge for a vote, etc...) Hope this helps, The Phammer ph...@hcflab.humnet.ucla.edu
