This is a design question. This is not a rules question
(I know the ruling for this one), nor a game balance
argument (I don't think the way the card was printed
has much impact on game balance at all). Please
do not attempt to answer/flame me as such.
The Hawg says "One Press each /turn/". This makes the
vehicle function differently than most other
equipment, such as IR Goggles for "one manuever
per /combat/". Does anybody has any game balance/
realism/whatever argument for why it has to be
one press each /turn/, instead of one press each
/combat/?
As to game balance, I can't see any significant
difference. Can anybody illustrate a situation
where giving a Hawg one press each combat
would be overwhelmingly unbalancing, even
worse than WwEF, Fame, or Majesty? Why
is a press so much worse than a .44, a
Sports Bike, or an Ivory Bow?

Peace Alan,
I always thought it was one press each combat. No, I can see no reason
why that would be unbalancing.

One press per combat probaby wouldn't be all that imbalancing, but the
card quite clearly says "1 press each turn", not "1 press each combat".

Peace Thomas,
Are you saying that Hawg gives you: 1) a press each combat round, 2) a press
each combat,3) or a press each player turn? While I have your attention,
can you clarify something for me? Game of Malkav & Malkavian Prank: can a
player 'wager' more pool than they currently possess? For example: I play
Malk Prank. You have only two pool. Can you choose three of four pool as
your 'wager?' My group has been playing with the answer as 'no' and I wanted
to find out something official. Thanks for your time.

This has been officially answered before - #3 is correct.

Also been answeered before: you may wager whatever you desire, up to the
limits set by the card. If you wager more than you currently have in your
pool and lose, then you are immediately ousted.

3 - a press each player turn.

Yes, you can wager more pool than you possess. At worst, this can oust
you.
papillo the pickled
Hawg says that the minion gets one press per turn, so it only gets one
press per turn (from the Hawg), regardless of how many combats and rounds
of combats it gets involved in.
When playing Game of Malkvan, you can choose a number that exceeds the
blood in your pool, since you are not removing blood from your pool in
order to gamble. The same goes for Malkavian Prank.
