Just saw a JYHAD-STRATEGY-L in which Bethmo from WotC said that
Deflection was paid by the Methuselah rather than the deflecting vampire.
I thought there was errata stating that the symbol was supposed to a be a
white blood drop indicating that it was paid by the vampire.
Which is correct?

I think Beth hasn't seen the errata section of Duelist #3 yet... But
if you're not sure, make a house rule before you play a game to
decide the issue either way.

Deflection has errata: the cost is paid by the vampire, not by the player.
