Because one is a card game and the other is a roleplying game. One is
played by people who like to dress in black, play assamite antitribu/
serpents of the light/ true brujah and angst over things like horror,
genre and style. the other played by regular joes who go to tournaments
and beat those other people because they only ever play their
'favourite' clan(s). They play different games. Some play both, others
don't. Some don't give a flying $#!+ about what happens in the other. If
V:TES was taken over by Decipher and we had to start playing with foil
IC member chase cards I wouldn't worry, as long as they were balanced.
Personnally, I play the card game and read this forum (dedicated to
discussion about the card game). I don't care in the slightest what
people might think about how the card game compares to the 'WOD reality'
(ROFL). Do you know who i trust to make the rules desicions for the card
game? LSJ and the rules team. Not WW, not some random prince with ennui-
just them. Who cares if one game doesn't mirror another? They are two
different games, if WotC hadn't been on the fringes of the RP industry
in the first place there wouldn't be any of this alledged RP/CCG
crossover anyway.
It's not errata, no card text has changed, and it makes little to no
difference anyway. Who cares. Can we please drop this pittiful subject
and any new posts about it. The people who's opinions matter (i.e: those
that understand the rules better than I do) have made their opinions
clear, it's going to be reviewed by the team again. Get over it you
losers.
