[LSJ] Life Boon Question

Hi i have a question i'm not completely sure about, that came up yesterday in the tournament in Mannheim, so i'll just ask: If Player A ousts Player B with a Govern the Unaligned, bringing Player B down to -1 pool, and Player D intervenes with a Life Boon, giving him 2 pool to bring him to 1 pool again, can player A then play a conditioning to boost the bleed and still get the oust? Yesterday i would have said yes, he can, but now, after some thinking, my guess would be no, since i figure the Life Boon is played when the Action resolves (when the pool is actually removed), so the time for playing Bleeding enhancing Action Modifiers is over. Right? Thanks Michael

Right? You are correct. By the time you play the Life Boon, the bleed has already resolved. You cannot play the Life Boon until the bleed amount has already been determined, thus if the Life Boon has already been played, it is too late to play any additional bleed enhancing effects. Of course this is one of those cases where things might get icky if you jump the gun and don't make sure you offer the other player the opportunity to play such effects before playing the Life Boon.
