couple of questions regarding "Reform Body" the vississitude card that prevents a vamp from burning, sending it to torpor instead. how does it resolve in cases where the vamp gets burned by something ike Decapitate or Amaranth? when it ends up in torpor, does it still have the blood it started with? example: John Paleologus gets aggro-poked and is on his way to torpor with 5 blood. opposing vamp plays decapitate and i respond with reform body. does John keep his 5 blood (and get 2 more for the superior version of the card.)? I'm guessing he does. variation using amaranth or ritual of the bitter rose. does the diablerie happen and can it be blood hunted? does John keep his blood? intuition says he goes to zero blood and then gets 2 back from the card because the opposing vamp is technically sucking him dry. can Reform Body be used by a vamp in torpor to counter act things like being diablerized, sacrificial lamb or Vulnerability?

When he gets burned by anyting and plays Reform Body, he keeps his blood. If being burned by diablerie (incl. amaranth), the diablerie is not successful -- the diablerist doesn't steal any blood or equipment and doesn't get a Discipline card and no blood hunt referendum is called. > example: John Paleologus gets aggro-poked and is on his way to torpor > with 5 blood. opposing vamp plays decapitate and i respond with reform > body. does John keep his 5 blood (and get 2 more for the superior > version of the card.)? Yes. > variation using amaranth or ritual of the bitter rose. does the > diablerie happen and can it be blood hunted? does John keep his blood? > intuition says he goes to zero blood and then gets 2 back from the > card because the opposing vamp is technically sucking him dry. The vampire is failing to suck him dry. Google: "reform diablerie blood author:LSJ" > can Reform Body be used by a vamp in torpor to counter act things like > being diablerized, sacrificial lamb or Vulnerability? If he's untapped (a requirement for playing reaction cards): Diablerie: yes. Sacrificial Lamb: yes. Vulnerability: no (it isn't an action, so no reaction cards can be played). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
